A quiet federal week: DEA order for an NP, and no state bills to report
Nothing moved in our state matrix this week, and our legislative sources were unavailable, so no state bills were searched. What we do have: one DEA registration order involving a nurse practitioner, and a look at the states that call the document a prescriptive authority agreement.

DEA publishes a decision and order in the registration case of a nurse practitioner
The Drug Enforcement Administration published a Decision and Order in the matter of Catina Allen, N.P., as a notice in the Federal Register on 2026-08-25. DEA registration actions are separate from your state's collaboration or prescriptive-authority requirements, but for an NP the registration is what carries controlled-substance prescribing, so these orders are the federal half of the prescribing picture.

Nothing else in this week's federal docket changes agreement rules
